Can I Make This Breakfast Casserole Ahead Of Time?
Yes, you can make this breakfast casserole a day ahead! It’ll taste as good on the second go-around as it does when first baking. Or if freezing is more of your thing, wrap individual servings in aluminum foil with an ice cream stick for easy grab n’ go breakfasts later down the line!
It is common for casserole recipes to call for them to be baked in advance and frozen before baking. Make sure you wrap the dish tightly with aluminum foil and place it in the refrigerator.
To Freeze: you can freeze your favorite breakfast casserole to enjoy at a later time. Simply prepare the recipe and add it to a freezer-safe dish before covering well with plastic wrap, aluminum foil, or freezer wrap; then place it in the freezer for 2-3 months.
When you’re ready to eat this tasty treat, again defrost in the refrigerator, overnight, until thawed, and then cook in the oven or air fryer.
