Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups walnuts raw
  • 1/4 cup keto and low-carb sugar substitute
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 teaspoons instant coffee
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the air fryer to 350℉. Line the tray with foil to prevent the syrup from dripping and burning on the bottom.
  • In a medium bowl mix together all of the ingredients until well combined. Make sure the sugar subsitute has started to melt and the coffee crystals have dissolved. 
  • Pour the nut mixture into the preheated air fryer basket and cook for 3 minutes. Gently stir the nuts with a spatula and cook for 2-3 minutes longer or until the nuts are shiny and the syrup has thickened.
  • Pour out on a parchment-lined tray and let cool for at least 15 minutes. The walnuts will harden as they cool.
  • Serve as a snack with dried fruit or on top of yogurt or ice cream.
